·         This exciting new opportunity would suit an experience Product Manager with an ambition to grow personally and professionally in an environment where you would have the autonomy to add real value to global stakeholders.


Working from a home office (ideally in the UK or Europe) but with c30% travel, this role will take responsibility for a range of innovative and dynamic products focused on the biopharma development and manufacturing sector. You will manage an existing product portfolio and will work closely with customers and sales colleagues to develop the existing products and launch new products to innovate within the sector and plug any product gaps required by your customers. In addition you will liaise with other Product Line Managers within the business to identify cross-coupling product ranges to ensure synergies across the entire company portfolio to create a complete solution to all bioprocessing product needs.


Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

·       Management of long to short-term business growth plans and budget

·       Drive Commercial and Product Excellence across your product portfolio

·       Full life cycle product management

·       Work closely with customers to identify and meet their product needs and innovate to support their challenges and future development plans

·       Develop a Portfolio and marketing mix to enable cross-selling across the entire company product portfolio

·       Works with supply chain on product availability to global customers

·       Analyses market trends, and competitor activity/products

·       Participates in contract negotiations with portfolio partners and 3rd part product suppliers

·       Prepare marketing, regulatory and technical material for commercial teams, customers and quality bodies

·       Support in-house teams with tenders/RFQ’s

·       Own the budget for your portfolio

·       Develops and maintain a commercial competitive price structure for different global markets

·       Represent the company at international conferences and Expos – giving presentations where appropriate


You will have the following expertise and qualifications

·       Proven experience in Product Management, Sales, Field Marketing or Application Sciences

·       Experience of managing a product portfolio and developing this in-line with collaboration with customers and colleagues

·       Commercially aware and experience of managing pricing within a global setting

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluent in English and any additional language skills would be advantageous

·       Good organization and time management skills, able to prioritise a busy workload

·       Strong Project Management skills and technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

·       Professionalism and a high level of customer focus self-initiative

·       Entrepreneur and creative thinker

·       Able to build strong business relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels of seniority
