Our client is a leading supplier of Scientific testing services to the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Chemical, academic and related markets and they have an exciting opportunity for an inside sales representative who is looking to begin or continue a career in scientific sales

Working from the company’s office in Manchester the successful candidate will be working with a team of Account Managers to continue the growth and development of the organisation through the sales of leading products. You will be assigned a territory and will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing clients to support the sales process and target new business opportunities with new lab managers and organisations to grow market share. You will work in partnership with the Field Sales team and Product Specialists to generate leads and maximise the potential of the territory.

Candidates will have an established Scientific background gained through academic studies (ideally degree qualified in biological or Chemical related subject) or equivalent scientific laboratory experience. You will also have previous B2B sales, customer or telemarketing experience or related transferable skills. As this is mainly a phone and email based position to a UK territory candidates must be fluent in English with strong oral and verbal communication skills.
