Location:             London

Progression:      Full training and support will be provided with a development plan to progress the successful candidate into an Account Manager in the future

 

Our client is a well-established Life Sciences organisation and provide marketer leading research tools to the Life Science community worldwide. They have developed a strong track-record for delivering a high quality, reliable and robust product and have built a reputation for excellent customer support. They are looking to grow their London team by appointing a Life Science Technical Services advisor to ensure they provide the very best support to their customers across Europe. This exciting role would be an ideal step for a graduate or laboratory Scientist who is looking to make a transition into an office based, tech support and business focused role with a progression plan to develop into an Account Manager

 

The successful candidate will have a relevant Life Science background with a strong knowledge of laboratory techniques associated with Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences or Biochemistry. Hands-on experience with techniques such as ELISA, Western blot, IHC and antibodies would be a distinct advantage.

 

In addition the successful candidate will have some industry laboratory experience along with office/customer service based experience with good communication skills (oral and written) and will be highly organised with strong administration skills. You must be fluent in English.

 

This is an entirely office based and would suit a degree qualified Life Scientist who is now looking to take their career in a non-lab based direction but still working in a technical capacity within the Life Science sector. Day to day duties will include:

 

·         Support the delivery of high quality technical and customer support for all products

·         Own and take responsibility for all on-going technical enquiries; liaising with the team to provide first-class support to customers

·         Manage customer complaints effectively; providing a rapid solution to problems and resolving an issues to replace/refund products.

·         Manage all in-house database systems to ensure all customer communication is accurately recorded

·         Co-ordinate customer deliveries

·         Provide social media support to promote technical products
