They take pride in putting the customer at the forefront of everything they do and continue to develop innovative and high quality products to support their research & manufacturing activities in pursuit of the new medicines.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a Life Scientist with experience in Marketing to lead a small team of dedicate marketers. Working from the companies European Head Office in London this role will involve rolling out the global marketing strategy to UK and European customers as well as supporting the Sales Team with the development of creative marketing material to support sales and address marketing opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing events and exhibitions and contributing to the development of the marketing strategy.


Your responsibilities will include:


Delivering marketing support services

·         Overseeing and working with the Marketing Assistant and Marketing Co-ordinator to achieve the marketing objectives

·         Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels

·         Write and prepare material for marketing campaigns, advertisements, product innovations, events/exhibitions etc..

·         Work with external agencies to design, plan and monitor promotional campaigns

·         Support in the development of the marketing strategy (local and global)

·         Control the budget for marketing activities; analysing ROI and effectiveness

·         Support the commercial team in attendance at UK & EU events, exhibitions and conferences


You track-record and background must include:

·         Degree qualified in a Life Science discipline (or able to develop a deep understanding of research tools associated with life science research)

·         Success designing and rolling out tactical marketing campaigns

·         Proven background operating within a marketing function

·         Supporting the writing of strategic marketing plans

·         Understanding the dynamics of marketing channels in relation to the target customer base and proven background applying these with successful outcomes

·         A creative mind, innovative and original

·         Excellent writing skills

·         Experience managing, supervising or mentoring a team


Occasional UK and European travel may be required
