Description

On-Site Surgical Supplies Administrator/Coordinator

Location: Epsom

Instrumentation: Surgical & Endoscopy

Salary: £negotiable dependant of skills and experience

Our client is a growing healthcare business focused on supplying surgical, medial and laboratory instrumentation and services to the Medical & Healthcare sector. They are looking to expand their team at one of their on-site offices in South West London to provide support to customers at the nhs SWLEOC facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation; market leader and award winner and will focus on supporting the provision of instruments and services to theatres. The role would suit an experienced healthcare worker and effective administrator and coordinator who has a knowledge and understanding of instruments used in surgery and is a familiarity with a theatre environment.

As the on-site surgical supplies administrator/coordinator you will take responsibility for coordinating the supply of instrumentation to theatres. This will involve managing all administration; liaising with 3rd parties over loan instrumentation and repair/calibration teams and associated clerical duties within the team. Working as part of a small team, you will be office based but with occasional need to be in scrubs to work closely with theatre staff to ensure their needs and requirements are provided for. As the role will require close working partnerships with nhs staff, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, have strong customer relationship management skills and will have a passion for providing a quality service and exceeding customer expectations.

This will be a fast-paced and busy role that requires an ability to work under pressure to deliver against tight deadlines and will require excellent influencing and organisational skills. The successful candidate must have experience of working within an nhs environment and will have a familiarity with surgical instrumentation, decontamination procedures and a surgical theatre environment.
