Operational Lead – Protein Homeostasis


Our client is a Pharmaceutical CRO based in Oxfordshire and specializes in providing drug discovery and development for highly effective therapeutics. As a global organization the company prides itself on it’s innovative approach and the use of leading technology to provide first-in-class and best-in-class pharmaceutical products.


Due to company growth an opportunity has now become available with their Innovation team to act as Operational Lead for Protein Homeostasis projects. The core responsibilities will be to lead projects across the platform including defining project strategies, developing partnerships, management of resources, budget compliance and ensuring project delivery.


While the role is more operational in nature the position requires an exceptional technical background with extensive experience in drug discovery. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:


  • Extensive experience working on drug discovery projects (approx. 10 years) at various stages of development
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development process
  • Established leadership skills and ability to network with internal and external partners
  • Experience of financial planning and budgeting for projects
  • Passion for improvement and innovation within their projects
  • Degree-level education (or equivalent) within a relevant discipline (i.e. Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry)


This is a senior-level appointment and as such offers an attractive salary and benefits package which would be based on experience.
