Location – Oxfordshire
Sector – Polymers / Medical Devices
Our client is a specialist polymer development and manufacture company. As an ISO 13485:2016 certified company, they develop materials to be used in bioregeneration. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Process/Production Engineer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
The Role
This is a role for individuals with proven experience in Process Development within an ISO 13485:2016 certified environment who can hit the ground running. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of new production processes and equipment to support the scale up of product concepts. Alongside this, you will offer support to Quality, R&D and other departments; as well as drafting and conducting IQ, OQ and PQ protocols.
This role represents the opportunity to become involved in many aspects of manufacturing cutting edge technologies for the medical device world.
Skills and Experience Needed
Suitable Applicants will have:
- At least a 2:1 degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- Proven process engineering experience within an ISO 13485 setting.
Suitable applicants will have experience in some or all of the following:
- Lean 6 Sigma.
- Drafting IQ, OQ, PQ protocols.
- CAPA experience.
- Basic programming skills + CAD.
- Previous practical experience in polymer processing.
- Previous experience/understanding of Document Control and Change Control procedures.
