Sales Account Manager, Analytical Chemistry

Territory: Field based covering North of England and North Wales

Salary: Competitive plus car/allowance and good bonus

As a leading analytical chemistry multinational corporation, our client has an expansive customer base spanning all market sectors and pride themselves in their excellent customer service and technical support.

Our client has an opening for a Sales Account Manager, Analytical Chemistry to cover the North of England and North Wales territory and will take responsibility for supporting the growth of the business within existing accounts and new business opportunities within the territory.

Candidates must have sales experience, ideally in the chromatography or associated laboratory consumables/life science marketplace. Practical experience working within an analytical laboratory with HPLC (MS) and/or GC (MS) techniques would be advantageous in this role and a degree (or equivalent industry lab experience) in chemistry or closely associated discipline.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and driven, with excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully develop new business with a varied range of clients - particularly within the Academic, Pharma, Chemical and Contract Testing sector.

With good scope for progression within the company, as well as an excellent remuneration and benefits package, this position is suited to a dynamic sales person with a strong technical background.
