Our client is a major global instrumentation organisation with a market leading reputation for the quality of their instrumentation, service and support. They are looking to recruit a Sales Specialist to focus on the generation of revenue from Service Support contracts for their (and third party) lab instrumentation. Working with mainly existing customers, the successful candidate will take responsibility for implementing a sales strategy in support of their Service Manager to maximise sales and profitability. The role will also include looking to develop sales with lapsed customers as well as targeting new business development opportunities for service support.

This will include negotiating contracts and closing sales for on-going and new service support contracts; realising the potential of new services, x-selling and implementation of a strategy to win competitor accounts. THe target market sectors will be the Pharma, biotech, Life Sciences, clinical/medical and Food manufacturing. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven scientific sales professional with a track record of selling Contracts or Services. Applicants will have a relevant scientific background or qualification (degree level preferred in a scientific discipline) and will have a track record of success selling into the Pharma, Biotech, Life sciences or Food sector.
