Location: Office based from Lancashire (when not travelling on business)

Salary: competitive plus car allowance and bonus

Overview

 

 Our client is a leading provider of healthcare testing services to the private health screening sector and offer patients fast, confidential and anonymous testing and results. They operate across the UK & Ireland as well as in several international markets. The UK Sales Manager will work closely with the International Business Development Manager and will deliver increased sales across all existing and new channels, products and services within the UK and Ireland territory.  

 

 This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that has demonstrated rapid growth over the last few years and deliver significant new revenue to the business. Working from the companies UK head office in Lancashire, the successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the UK & Ireland Sales team as well as being customer facing when required. Working closely with the Senior Management team to set the strategy and vision for the territory you will drive sales by increasing market exposure, seeking new collaborative relationships with partners and identify new product and service streams where appropriate.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for increasing Sales across entire product portfolio and service
  • Suggesting, developing and managing new sales areas to the Board
  • Development/ updating, design and overseeing of corporate material (to include, instruction leaflet, website, and other publications)
  • Support International Expansion
  • Management of the Sales Team

 

 

 

 


The ideal person will have:

 

  • Outstanding Sales record in a medical/healthcare/pharma or related area
  • Understanding of sales business models and their strengths/limitations
  • Innovative; able to identify potential new opportunities and new routes to market and develop a strategy to maximise the potential
  • Completer : finisher - Ability to see projects through to a finish
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and an excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent presenting skills from Board Level down
  • Willingness to learn about a niche health screening sector
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm about new challenges
  • Staff management. Motivational and training skills


The successful person may have:

 

  • Health Science or related experience
  • Business Development in healthcare
  • Practice Management experience
