Food Sensory Project Manager
Location – Gloucestershire
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Our client is an established business within the food and drink sector and offers research and innovation services to industrial partners to drive product development.
The Role:
An opportunity has become available for a Sensory Scientist to join the company and support the Sensory team through the provision of innovation and insights for client product development and improvements.
As a member of the Sensory team you will be responsible for developing service capability and providing expertise for client projects including:
- Sensory Panel management through effective selection, maintenance, training and performance
- Ensuring projects meet client objectives including timelines, budget constraints etc.
- Support in project development through effective quotes and proposals
Suitable applicants will have:
- Significant Sensory Science experience including Panel leadership
- Professional Sensory qualification
- Experience managing projects including time-management, budgeting and delivery
- Degree in Food Science or Food Technology (or equivalent)
- Strong verbal and communication skills with leadership capability
Package:
In return my client offers a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits.
