Do you have at least 3 years of experience working within the waste industry? We are currently offering the opportunity for a new chemist to join an environmental-based company in the South-East. Our client is seeking a hard-working and engaging individual to join their team.
The Role
As a Senior Waste Chemist, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving, inspecting, and separating deliveries of hazardous chemicals,
- Accurately completing and maintaining delivery documentation,
- Loading and unloading delivery lorries,
- Operating waste processing equipment.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience handling hazardous chemicals at a waste transfer station or treatment plant (essential)
- Knowledge / understanding of chemicals & their potential hazards (essential)
- An interest in working in an outdoor-based environment (essential)
- A valid driving licence and access to a car (desirable)
- Existing UK work eligibility (desirable)
