Location – Bedford

Salary – £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on interview performance & experience)
Full time, permanent role
We are currently offering the opportunity for a LC-MS Analyst to join a UKAS-accredited laboratory which specialise in the analysis of environment samples, such as water and soil.
This role is well suited to someone with experience contributing to analytical operations, in compliance with UKAS / ISO 17025.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. Unfortunately, sponsorship cannot be offered for this position either now or in the future.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (14:00 – 22:00).
The Role
As an LC-MS Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day operation of LC-MS – operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Sample analysis in compliance with UKAS / ISO 17025.
- LC-MS method development & validation.
- Reviewing & reporting of analytical results.
Current / Recent Experience Required:
- 1+ years of prior experience working within an analytical chemistry laboratory, either in the environmental or food sectors (essential).
- LC-MS expertise – including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting (essential).
- Expertise in UKAS / ISO 17025 regulations (essential).
- A degree in Chemistry or a related subject (desirable).
Profile Required:
- Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
- Happy to commute / relocate to Bedford (essential).
