This is a rare one…

A well-established, respected supplier of high-quality life science reagents who are trusted by IVD manufacturers, biotech companies and academic researchers alike; is looking for a sharp, driven Internal Sales Executive to join their team in the Buckinghamshire countryside.

 

You won't be flogging widgets…

You'll be having real conversations with scientists and procurement teams about products that matter — reagents that end up in diagnostics kits, research workflows and next-generation biotech platforms. This is sales with substance.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

         Proactively hunting new business — picking up the phone, firing off smart outreach, working

         every channel available to you

         Partnering with the Marketing and Key Accounts teams to build targeted campaigns and

         convert pipeline into real revenue

         Building a book of business across IVD manufacturers, biotech’s and academic research

         groups

         Managing leads, following up relentlessly and turning interest into orders

         Staying sharp on the market — knowing the products, the customers and the competitive

         landscape

 

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Science-literate:                          Degree or hands-on lab background in life sciences

Phone-first:                                        Not afraid to dial - comfortable starting conversations cold

Hunter mentality:                        You don't wait for leads to land in your lap

Resilient:                                              A 'no' is data, not a dead end - you bounce back fast

Multi-channel:                                Phone, Email, LinkedIn, CRM - you use them all smartly

Team player:                                     Collaborative with sales, marketing and key accounts

 

 

THE IDEAL BACKGROUND

You've come from a sales, business development or lead generation role — ideally within life

sciences, diagnostics or a related technical field.

You might be a scientist who discovered you're wired for the commercial side, or a sales professional who gets genuinely excited by science.

 

Either works. What doesn't work is someone who waits for the world to come to them.

 

Given the rural Buckinghamshire setting, having your own car and being comfortable

commuting to the office is a real practical advantage here.
